Baking Soda + Maple Syrup
Note: The lemon + baking soda protocol outlined in this section is designed to raise pH levels in the body (using sodium and potassium bicarbonate) as well as cleanse the system and support the liver (using lemon juice). It does not act to alkalize or destroy cancer cells. After a few weeks on this program, when the body pH levels are brought within optimal range, you may consider making a “direct-attack”; this would involve raising the dosage of sodium bicarbonate from about 1 tsp/day to 2-4 tsp/day and adding a sugar-based carrier to the mix (such as maple syrup or molasses) so that the sodium bicarbonate gets delivered directly to the sugar-hungry cancer cells (thus destroying them--and/or destroying the cancer-causing microbe inside them--with excess alkalinity).

Baking Soda + Maple Syrup Protocol
Basic Mixture: 1 part baking soda + 3 parts maple syrup
To make a supply lasting for a few day, use the following amounts:
5 T baking soda
15 T maple syrup (or blackstrap molasses)
(Some recipes use 5T baking soda and 10T sweetener)
(Do not add water)
Place the two ingredients into a pot (better yet, a double boiler) and gently heat to a temperature of around 120 F, while stirring continually for 5-10 minutes so that the two ingredients combine chemically. Use just enough heat so that the two ingredients will fuse together. Too much heat will cause the mixture to burn which will ruin the taste.
Dosage:
There is no "standard" dose, but a typical dosing schedule may be as follows:
Take two to four teaspoons (not Tablespoons) of the mixture per day, on an empty stomach. It is best to space the doses throughout the day. Build up slowly, beginning with one teaspoon per day (of the mixture), then two teaspoons the next day, until you reach four teaspoons (of the mixture) per day. (This would amount to about 2 teaspoons of baking soda per day; some protocols, however, use up to 4 teaspoons of baking soda per day.) Do not stay on this dosage level for more than six weeks. After six weeks discontinue and evaluate your condition.
Advanced cancer patients, looking to bring about immediate results, can use up to 16 teaspoons of the mixture per day (equaling an intake of 4 teaspoons of baking soda per day). Do not stay on this program for more than a week or ten days. After a week discontinue and evaluate your situation. Short term use of this high-dose protocol may be quite helpful whereas long-term use may be harmful. Make sure you get plenty of potassium as high doses of sodium always throw off your sodium-potassium balance. Eat high potassium foods and supplement with potassium.
